How You Helped Put A Smile on Children’s Faces Over Christmas

Back in December we told you about our work with Chestnut Tree House, a home away from home for children with progressive life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses. In order to ensure the children they help had a good Christmas, the charity gave us a Christmas wish list which contained a number of items that they thought would make a big difference to the children.

This is a cause close to our hearts so we shared the appeal with our customers. We’re pleased to say it touched your hearts too and between Cube Self Storage and yourselves, we managed to buy all the presents on the list that Chestnut Tree House wanted and the children needed. Amongst the gifts were:

The VTech Sing and Discover Piano – Every child loves toys that are loud and musical so we know that this will be well loved and played with at Chestnut Tree House.

Disney Pixer Cars 2 Frustration Game – Do you remember playing Ludo as a child? We do so we know the children will enjoy this updated version featuring Lightening McQueen and other characters from the hit Disney film.

We received a lovely letter and photo from Chestnut Tree House telling us how much the children loved all the gifts supplied and how much it meant to the charity to receive them. We are hoping to take part in next year’s Christmas appeal too.
