  • How do I contact you if I need to?

  • How secure is your storage facility?

    Our storage facility is secured with 24 hours monitoring, fire alarms and smoke detectors. Be rest assured, your items are under the safest care with us. We also offer climate controlled storage for items such as wine that require extra care when stored.

  • Do you have a removals or van service?

    Yes we do. Our holding company, Edward Baden offers excellent removal and relocation services. You can be rest assured that every stage of your move will be in expert hands and every detail will be taken care of ensuring you a swift and hassle-free move.   • Do you have any moving equipment available to help me move my items into my storage space?

    Yes, we offer trolleys and pallets and a variety of moving equipment.

  • Do you offer packing service?

    If you need a hand with packing your storage boxes, please speak to our customer service assistant or contact us to discuss your requirements in more detail.

  • Do you sell packing materials?

    Yes, we sell the full range of packaging materials including storage boxes, bags and bubble wrap – you can see our full range under our Box Shop page.

  • What size storage do you have?

    We offer a large range of standard storage units and bespoke units for any size as well as climate-controlled secure storage facility. Visit our Size / Price / Location page to learn more about the room sizes.

  • What can’t I store in my storage unit?

    You can store virtually anything except:

    – Living materials, such as animals and plants
    – Hazardous items such as flammable liquids or explosives
    – Items that can decompose such as food
    – Unauthorised or illegal goods such as firearms

    NB Customs and police have statutory rights enabling them to visit your room.

  • Is there a minimum storage period?

    There is no minimum storage period but we do operate on a monthly billing cycle so you will be billed for a minimum of a month’s storage.

  • How secure is your storage facility?

    Our storage facility is secured with 24 hours CCTV monitoring, round the clock security, fire alarms and smoke detectors. Be rest assured, when you store with us, the safety of your items are our highest priority. We  also offer climate controlled storage at our facility.

  • Can I change to a different size after I’ve already moved in?

    Yes, of course! If the unit size you want is available at our facility, you can move into a larger unit to better suit your storage requirements. Our customer service assistant will assist you in that transition.

  • Can the authorities access my storage unit without my express permission?

    Government authorities such as the customs and police have statutory rights enabling them to visit your space unit with relevant documentations. As per our storage agreements, we will fully cooperate with all government authorities when they have reasonable cause to suspect that illegal or possibly illegal activities are conducted in our self-storage facility. The extent of our cooperation includes allowing these authorities to inspect your storage unit.

  • How will I be billed?

    We run a first of the month billing cycle. For the first calendar month of your storage, you will be charged from the day that your belongings have been securely stored in our storage facility to the end of that month, and then on the first day of each subsequent calendar month.

  • Will I need to pay a deposit for my storage unit with Cube Self Storage?

    We do not charge a deposit for our storage units but you will however be billed for a minimum of a month’s storage.

  • Do you pro-rate refunds?

    We will pro-rate to the day you wish to vacate your storage unit and your storage terminated provided a one-month notice is given in writing.
